Design Engineering Manager, Data Center Design
_RESPONSIBILITIES_
Lead a multidisciplinary DCD Team in the design and development of
data center critical infrastructure systems, buildings and campuses
Develop and lead updates to the design standards and specifications
for consistency and maximum system reliability
Provide mission critical system review services to local data center
Facility Operations & Engineering teams
Support the data center construction and commissioning activities
(Integrated System Test) for new data centers
Research new designs, materials, and construction methods for data
center equipment and related components
Provide and review detailed scripts for Change Management request
activities
Develop capital project budgets and complex business case analyses
Travel to datacenter sites for engineering studies, critical systems
audits, startup testing, and full commissioningand for project and
site reviews, as required- approximately **Apply on the website**%
travel to both domestic and international project locations
Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies
Engage with external Consultant firms, and internal corporate user
groups and stakeholders, including Construction Management and Field
Teams, Network Teams, Project Controls & Contract Management Teams,

Strong trouble shooting and analytical skills
Minimum Qualifications
A BSc in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical) or
BArch.
Professional registration (CEng/RIAI) is required
Senior professional experience in data center design, construction,
operations, and maintenance
Must hold knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety standards,
and building codes across all engineering disciplines (Mechanical,
Electrical, Controls (BMS) Civil, Structure, Landscape, Architecture)
including IEC, CIBSE and BS Standards
Must have strong cross-discipline knowledge of complete critical
facility systems
Must be familiar with MS products, Autodesk platform, Revit,
Navisworks, AutoCAD, Visio, and SKM software
Experience in managing large multidisciplinary design and engineering
teams, including strong collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an Owner?s Representative position and collaborating
with Construction and Facilities Operations Teams is a plus
